$10,000 for a brake job … and that was just the front brakes!

I have to say the H2 Hummer. I heard that it has a lot of problems and breaks down a lot.
Regarding best cars in the USA I would say Lexus. They break down the least of all the luxury cars out there. Mercedes and Porsche I reckon is quite excellent. Don:t buy Cadillac they break down a lot too.

speed limit for an antique car in PA is 25 miles per hour so I really don’t reckon they are allowed on highways. Antiques are limited to participation in club activities, exhibits, tours, parades, occasional transportation and similar uses.” Occasional transportation and similar uses is defined as one day a week.

This book has stunning photography and incredible writing. It provides a comprehensive, but not exhaustive history on Porsche’s development. The book flows from topic to topic perfectly, making for a engaging read. This has been the best Porsche book I have read, and it was worth every penny. I would reccomend it to anyone who wants to learn more about Porsche, about its development as a company, about its incredible racing heritage, and about the making of the most captivating road car in the world. The Porsche 911.

This book was certainly an fascinating read. It provided some excellent insight into the history of the Porsche 911 and the innovations that were made. I was somewhat disappointed but in that I was hoping the book would tell me what was excellent or terrible about a particular model; it didn’t. I also would have liked photos of the models being discussed incorporated with the text. Overall, I loved the book and better know the decisions made by Porsche as the company matured.

Having just received the book yesterday, I have not spent much time beyond thumbing through. I see gorgeous photos and I’m feeling it may be cabrio-centric. There are Porsches that spend their lives in the garage….photogenic beauties with 3-digit odometer readings, many, if not most, cabrios……and then there are the Porsches that are driven, nearly always coupes….The experience of driving to the limit is what makes a Porsche a Porsche. It is what it does better than anything…the excellent looks are just the icing on the cake. We all will like this book, regardless.
